Privacy Policy: Max Brawer Add-Ons & Website

Applies to: “Workday to Sheets”

Effective: 03/01/2021

Last Update: 03/06/2021

Max Brawer (“Max”, “we”, “our”) understands that privacy is important and attempts to respect privacy of our users (“Users”, “you”). By installing these add-ons (“services”) or visiting this website maxbrawer.com, you agree to the following terms and collection or use of information in accordance with this policy:

Data Collection and Use: We do not currently intend to collect any user data beyond data provided to publishers in the Google Workspace Marketplace by default. We do not capture any personally identifiable information from you as a user. If a user has emailed or responded to a web form to show interest or inquire about the product, we will treat that email address and its contents as confidential and only used for essential product communication and improvement.

Workday to Sheets’ use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

For more information about the Limited Use disclosure requirements, see Could you explain the Limited Use requirements from the Google API Services User Data Policy?

GDPR Compliance: these services are GDPR compliant. We do not collect user analytics, device information, personal data or any data you provide to the Google Workspace Application.

Add-on Scopes: in order to function, these add-ons use the minimum required GW scopes to access areas of your GW Application. They are:

  •  “…/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly: View and manage spreadsheets that this application has been installed in
…/auth/script.external_request: Connect to an external service
…/auth/script.scriptapp: Allow this application to run when you are not present
    …/auth/userinfo.email: View your email address
…/auth/userinfo.profile: See your personal info, including any personal info you’ve made publicly available
  • How these scopes are used: because the app is initiated in an open Spreadsheet, the app requires access to the current spreadsheet only. It will paste data and modify formatting into the current spreadsheet. External requesting is core to the app in that the app makes requests of external URLs from myworkday.com in order to access reports and paste those data into Sheets. Script App is required only if the user wishes to set up a time-based trigger so that reports can be automatically refreshed at the user’s desired cadence. Additional scopes help the app know the user’s email and locale/time zone which are not used in accordance with Google’s limited use policies.
To Contact Us: For help and support, we recommend contacting inquiries@maxbrawer.com with your question and relevant screenshots.

Changes: this policy may change over time. If it does, we will update it here and revise the last update field above.
